At expiry, the company moves to Free unless an authorized billing user chooses and purchases a paid plan.

On a paid plan with pay-as-you-go enabled, three things can run past their allowance:€3.00 per extra test attempt, €6.00 per extra interview hour (billed by the minute), and €0.02 per 1,000 extra AI tokens. All are added to your next invoice rather than charged mid-cycle. You set your own spend cap per billing period (it defaults to 50% of your plan price), and we email you at 50%, 75%, 90% and 100% of it. Nothing is ever billed above the cap — once you reach it, further usage waits until you raise it or the period resets, so the cap is the one thing that can pause new candidates on a paid plan. During a free trial, the trial allowance is a fixed limit rather than pay-as-you-go. Candidate invitations stay unlimited on every plan and are never metered. Free plans do not accrue any usage charges — they simply stop at the limit and prompt an upgrade.
By the actual duration of the live room, from the moment it starts to the moment it ends, rounded to the minute. Scheduling an interview costs nothing — nothing is counted until the room actually opens, and a cancelled or no-show interview costs you nothing. Each room holds up to 5 participants, so the interviewer, the candidate and any additional panellists all count as one interview, not several.
Cancellation stops your auto-renewal — you keep access until the end of your current billing period and there are no further charges. We do not issue automatic pro-rata refunds for unused time. If you have been billed in error (duplicate charge, technical issue, etc.) email [email protected] within 30 days. EU consumers retain their statutory right of withdrawal (subject to immediate-provisioning rules for digital services).
