If something goes wrong

You lost your connection, or the page closed

Open your invitation link again. Your answers up to that point are saved and you continue where you left off.

The clock does not pause while you are away. If the deadline passed while you were gone, that attempt is over.

The timer ran out

The assessment submits what you had. There is no way to add to it afterwards.

If something outside your control caused it — a power cut, an outage — contact the company that invited you. They can allow another attempt. We cannot grant one on their behalf.

Your code will not run

Check that you have selected the right language, and that you have only changed the function body. The starter code around it handles reading input and printing output; editing it usually breaks the program before your solution is reached.

If the error mentions compilation, read it from the top — the first error is usually the real one.

The link says it is invalid or expired

Common causes, in order:

  • The link expired. Invitations can be set to stop working on a date.
  • You have already used all the attempts the company allowed.
  • The link went to a different email address than the one you are using.

All three are the company's to fix. Ask them to re-send or reissue the invitation.

You are told you cannot start

If you see a message asking you to contact the person who invited you, that is between them and us — it is not about you or anything you did. Forward the message to them and they can resolve it.

Something else

Contact the company that invited you first. They can see your invitation and your attempt; they know what the assessment is for, and they are the ones who decide what happens next.
