Training & Certification

Training assigns your own people material to read and a test to pass, then records who did it and issues a certificate. It is built for compliance and internal certification — annual security training, a policy everyone must acknowledge, onboarding sign-off — rather than for hiring.

Training requires an Enterprise plan.

How it differs from the rest of the platform

OutputA score to interpretA rankingA pass and a certificate
RetriesOne attempt by defaultPer the scheduleBuilt in, with a waiting period

The difference that shapes everything else: with hiring you are trying to discriminate between people, so you want a spread of scores. With training you want everyone to pass — the test exists to demonstrate the material was understood, and someone failing means they need another go, not that they are out.

That is why retries are a first-class setting rather than an exception.

Training attempts never count against your monthly test-attempt allowance. Certifying five hundred staff does not consume the budget you bought for hiring.

The pieces

Participants are the people, held in a reusable pool with their department. Someone certified annually is one participant assigned to a new task each year, not a new record each time. See Participants.

Tasks are a unit of training: documents to read, a test to pass, and a window to do it in. See Training tasks.

Certificates are issued automatically on a pass, alongside the acknowledgement trail that is the actual compliance evidence. See Certificates and evidence.

Archiving records who did it and when. Keep completed tasks rather than deleting them — the point of running training is being able to show later that it happened, and a deleted task proves nothing.
